Beam & Flame Detectors

Beam Detector & Accessories

Zeta Beam Xtra Detector

  • Developed to overcome the problems of old outdated technology in beam detection, this motorised beam now means that beam detection can be used reliably to produce cost effective solutions for protecting large open areas.
  •  This intelligent motorisation will mean less false alarms therefore saving time, resources, reputations and ultimately money.

Range Extension Kit

  • ZT-BEAM/KIT140 Mid range kit for distances between 70 and 140 metres.
  •   ZT-BEAM/KIT160 Long range kit for distances between 140 and 160 metres.

Conventional UV Flame Detector

Ultra-Violet Flame Detector

  • The Fyreye ultra-violet flame detector is particularly suited to applications where flames can be expected to develop initially rather than smoke. This is typically due to the nature of the materials being protected for instance camera film, computer, audio & video tapes or disks.
  • The detector is for indoor use only and should not be exposed to spurious sources of UV, such as sparks, uncovered halogen lights, lightening, etc. as these may trigger a false alarm.
  • Due to the operational nature of flame detectors it is generally recommended to fit just one detector per zone.

UV & IR Flame Detectors

The new range of UV/IR and Triple IR Flame Detectors detect fuel and gas fires at long distances with the highest immunity to false alarms.

Triple IR (IR3) Flame Detector

The ZT-500EX can detect the same fire at 65m in less than 5 seconds.

UV/IR Flame Detector

ZT-20EX and ZT-500EX series are approved to ATEX by DNV for explosion-proof.

Range Extension Kit

The ZT-30P and the ZT-20EX can detect a 0.1m2 gasoline pan fire at 30m in less than 5 seconds.
